Arrival in the city. Reception at the airport for transfer to the Cancún train station. Upon arrival at the Campeche train station, we will provide transportation to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the main attractions of Campeche’s historic center. Here, you’ll learn about the history of its buildings and stroll through its colorful streets, where Baroque temples and imposing bastions blend in one of the best-fortified cities in the Americas. The entire city is a living piece of history. Its streets still echo the presence of Spanish conquistadors, pirate invaders, and 19th-century civil struggles. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Early departure to the Edzná Archaeological Zone. This is the largest archaeological site in Campeche and was once a powerful Maya capital inhabited for over two millennia. Here, you will learn all about the history of this archaeological gem. You will visit the Grand Acropolis, home to its iconic five-story structure, which offers an excellent view of the Main Plaza and the Nohochná building, also known as the Great House. You will also admire the Stairway Temple, the Knives Platform, the Ball Court, and the Temple of the Masks. Return to Campeche and overnight stay.
Departure transfer from your hotel in Campeche to the train station for your return to Cancún. End of services.
